Dental Veneers
What are dental veneers?
Veneers are thin coverings on the front surface of teeth that greatly enhance the overall smile and are permanently bonded to the tooth.
They are used to address various aesthetic issues, including:
- Changing the color of teeth that cannot be corrected through whitening
- Repairing damaged teeth (e.g., teeth that are cracked, broken, or worn)
- Correcting irregularities in the shape of teeth (e.g., teeth that are uneven, oddly shaped, or have small gaps between them)
Dental Veneers
CERAMIC
Require minimal grinding of the front tooth surface
COMPOSITE
No tooth grinding
Aesthetic dentistry is the most important branch in our clinic to which we have devoted ourselves.
Smile transformations and the “Hollywood smile” are our specialty.

Composite Veneers
Veneers are made directly in the patient’s mouth by adding material, without the need for tooth grinding. A mold of the designed future teeth is required, into which the composite material is extruded directly onto the tooth, cured with a UV lamp, thus permanently bonding it to the tooth.
The most important aspect of this process is the thorough polishing of the composite material, achieving a high gloss similar to that of ceramics. This way, the teeth look perfectly natural as they have a natural light reflection on their surface.
Advantages:
- teeth are not ground
- simple and quick production
Disadvantage:
- durability shorter than ceramic veneers
- porosity; polishing every 6 months due to absorption of pigments from food and drinks

Ceramic Veneers
Thin coverings similar to eggshells made from glass-ceramics that allow light to pass through, providing teeth with a perfect appearance and shine. They achieve a Hollywood smile and can completely change the color and shape of teeth.
The front surface of the tooth is minimally filed to create grooves where the veneer will sit. It is then glued to the tooth using special adhesive that allows for a permanent chemical bond between the veneer and the tooth.
Advantages:
- high aesthetics and excellent imitation of natural enamel
- ability to change the shape, color, and size of teeth
- durability of 10-12 years
Disadvantage
- need for minimal tooth grinding
- longer production process due to exceptional customization of veneers and the involvement of a dental laboratory
- higher cost
